What are VRAM projects?
EXPANSION packs with contents on USB stick which are delivered completely as a .cpf file for the YAMAHA EXPANSION Manager.

VRAM ( Virtual RAM ) projects are expansions that are offered in .cpf format for the YAMAHA Expansion Manager. The special thing about them is that these files are quite large but only take up a very small amount of the actual expansion memory of the GENOS1 and GENOS2. In the recorded Project ERA, the complete project expansion has 48MB, but only 6MB of this is required by the actual EXPANSION RAM. This special procedure pushes the other contents of the software into the user memory, which is 58GB for GENOS1 and 15GB for Genos2. This means that all content such as the Audio Style, the Multi PADs and the Audio Link Waves are all moved to the user memory, while only 6 MB of it ends up in the existing voice memory,
which is exactly 3072 MB in size.
